Comprehensive Installation Guide

The Parcel Selector® plugin is a modern tool for your WooCommerce store that lets customers select an InPost parcel locker directly on an interactive map during checkout.

1

What does the plugin do after installation?

From the installer's perspective, the plugin adds new, intelligent functionality to the order process:

  • Automatically integrates with WooCommerce shipping methods.
  • Adds a "Select Parcel Locker" button on the checkout page.
  • When clicked, it displays a modern map with thousands of points in Poland and abroad.

The plugin works on its own — you do not need to create an InPost account or enter any API keys. All data is already included.

2

How to install the plugin?

Method A: ZIP File

EASIEST
  1. 1 Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  2. 2 Go to Plugins → Add New.
  3. 3 At the top of the page, click the "Upload Plugin" button.
  4. 4 Click Choose File and select the plugin ZIP file.
  5. 5 Click "Install Now".
  6. 6 After upload, you will see a success message.

Method B: Via FTP

  1. 1 Extract the plugin ZIP file on your computer (folder inpost-paczkomaty).
  2. 2 Connect to your server using an FTP client (e.g. FileZilla).
  3. 3 Navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder.
  4. 4 Copy the entire inpost-paczkomaty folder there.
3

Activation Process (Key step!)

Installation alone is only half the job. The plugin will not work until you activate it!

  1. In the WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
  2. Find International Parcel Selector on the list.
  3. Click the blue "Activate" link.

Without activation, WordPress will not load the plugin code and the locker selection buttons will not appear in your store. After successful activation the plugin name will be highlighted in blue.

4

Checking WooCommerce settings

After activation, make sure your shipping method is properly configured so the map can be displayed.

  1. 1 Go to WooCommerce → Settings.
  2. 2 Click the Shipping tab.
  3. 3 Enter your Shipping Zone (e.g. Poland).
  4. 4 Check that the shipping methods list includes your InPost-enabled method (e.g. "InPost Parcel Locker").
  5. 5 Make sure the shipping method is enabled (toggle is blue).

The plugin automatically hooks into standard parcel locker shipping methods. If a customer selects such a method at checkout, the map button appears automatically.

5

How to verify everything works?

To be 100% sure the process completed successfully:

  1. Open your store in a new window (preferably in incognito mode).
  2. Add any product to the cart and go to Checkout.
  3. Select the Parcel Locker shipping method.

You should see a "Select Parcel Locker" button. Click it — if the map opens, congratulations! The plugin is ready to go.

Download the plugin ZIP from the Shop page. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Select the downloaded ZIP file and click 'Install Now'. After installation click 'Activate Plugin'.
After activating the plugin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → ParcelSelector. Select the countries you want to ship to. Set the shipping method names that will be visible to customers in the cart. Save changes — and you're done!
NO! This is the biggest advantage of ParcelSelector. The plugin works without InPost API, without a courier account and without any contract. Customers choose a locker on the map in your store, and you ship the parcel via the InPost app or any drop-off point.
Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping. Select a shipping zone (e.g. 'Poland') or create a new one. Click 'Add shipping method' and select 'ParcelSelector - InPost Parcel Locker'. Set the shipping price and save.
We currently support shipping from Poland to: Belgium, France, Spain, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Portugal and Italy. The UK and Germany are ready and awaiting InPost confirmation. In total, that is 23 European countries with InPost parcel lockers!
The customer adds products to the cart, proceeds to checkout and selects the 'InPost Parcel Locker' shipping method. An interactive map with a search bar appears. The customer finds and selects a locker — the address is automatically added to the order. Simple!
On the free plan you have 100 orders over 6 months. After exceeding the limit the plugin continues to work, but locker data will be served from slower backup servers. This may cause longer map loading times. We recommend upgrading to a paid plan.
Yes! The FREE plan is free and gives you 100 orders over 6 months with one country (Poland). That is enough to test the plugin in your store and see how it works. If you like it, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time.
Download the new ZIP version from the Shop page. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. WordPress will ask if you want to replace the existing version — confirm. All settings will be preserved.
Check for conflicts with other plugins — try temporarily disabling other plugins and check again. Make sure your theme is not blocking JavaScript files. Clear all caches (cache plugins, CDN, browser). If the issue persists, contact us at [email protected].
ParcelSelector is compatible with most popular WooCommerce themes (Storefront, Astra, OceanWP, Flatsome, Divi and more). The map is injected via standard WooCommerce hooks, so it should work seamlessly. If you encounter issues, get in touch.
